I would like to ask the following question. I currently have a job but I am offered another function in another place. And I do not know which decision to take. And I even do not know which questions to raise if I go to an interview.
How would you investigate this question with the help of hypnosis ?
Probably you will consider my question as a fantasy. But I experienced that, thanks to hypnosis, I am able to make links during pieces of information, links that I am not able to make when I am in a normal state.

I am surprised by the lack of answers to this question. As this is my first intervention on this forum, I would like to know what experience people here have with hypnosis.

Indecision may mean a variety of things. For example, paying only lip service to or pretending (without realizing it consciously) that there is an option you may "decide" to go for, while, in fact, you have no intention of ever doing so. Pretending that this is an option you may decide on may serve to satisfy some part of you.
Another possibility may be that there are two inner parts, or ego states as they are called by some, that are in conflict about the two options available to you, and these parts are equal or almost equal in power so that neither can gain complete dominance over the other.
Skills in self-hypnosis are not enough to find a solution to this problem on your own. You need to be a very mature person who is able to go within and act as an impartial and objective observer. The best way would be to go to an experienced hypnotherapist and ask for his or her expert assistance.
If you can do self-hypnosis or just reach a relaxed state, you may try the following. Sit comfortably, relax and run in your mind all aspects of the two choices available to you, their pros and cons, what they mean to you, etc., then, allow yourself to relax deeper, let go as much as you can and ask your inner mind to give you the solution that is best for you. Do this with an absolute trust that your inner mind knows what is best for you and that it will give you the right solution using, perhaps, words that will just pop up in your mind, or an image or symbol the meaning of which will be immediately understood by you.
Put forth your request to your inner mind and just wait there in a state of relaxed anticipation. Do this a few times and it may or may not work eventually, but there's nothing to lose in trying. |
