was wondering if Hypnotherapy would be able to help me with the following problem.
When I was 14 ( I am 41 now) I was at a party. I got real drunk and I ended up going on a moped ride with an older guy that I did not even know. He was an aquaintance of my brothers but not one who would come over to our house like my brothers other friends. Anyhow I don't know where we went or how long we were gone. I ended up falling of the moped and I don't remember that at all. I am not sure if I passed out, blacked out or what. I asked a couple of people who were at the party the next day if they could tell me anything about how long we were gone and no one could remember I guess at parties people don't really keep track of each other. I don't know if this guy asked me to go for a ride or if I asked him all I remember is he had a gold sweatshirt on. I have never had a chance to talk to this guy, I could not even tell you what he looked like. I found out is name the next day from my brother. I guess when we came back from the ride I must have looked pretty bad because I remember someone asking me if I wanted to go to the hospital and I told them no because I did not want the host of the party getting in trouble because of how drunk I was. I don't think anything happened between us, but I would like to know if possible how the heck I fell off and how I even ended up going on the moped. I know I should just let this go but I think about it and it is something that still after all these years bothers me.

| First the good news, yes hypnosis could reveal your impression of what took place "perhaps". I say perhaps because you say you were drunk, and that means that part of your brain was anesthetised, and therefor non functional. Now the bad news. No matter what you reveal under hypnosis, there is no way to confirm it as true, and that is why such revelations are not accepted in a court of law. You can so easily concoct a story to suit what you want to believe happened. Finally, the cost of such an investigation is high if you choose to consult a good practitioner, particullarly since there is no satisfaction in a result you can't depend on, don't you think? |
