I guess I'm pretty typical of the traumatic past crowd. They either destroy themselves or heal with fairly spectacular results. I've finally made it to the latter stage in the last five years, and am looking to come out of the closet and remember the passion I'm here for. For a person who's healed both mind and body, I've got some pretty funny hang ups, and there's a deep wall I'd been terrified of tearing down, I guess. I know that only I have the answers for myself, but this is the sort of thing I cannot do through self hypnosis, and the truth is I'd really like to work with others instead of by myself for once. I'd love to meet people who inspire me, to find the likeminded people that till now I've only known to exist through books.
I'd love to hear from anyone who has experience with more than problem oriented rituals, anyone who is comfortable with regression. I'm looking to remember the answers I had as a child, and I've learned to find the beauty in the trauma that blocked them off.
I'd also love to hear from anyone who can help me with my location issue, whether you have any leads on hypnotherapists relatively near Marquette MI, or are a therapist who is willing to work something out so I could see you. This is something I've wanted to do for a couple of years now, and I have a little something beyond my happy $600/month income that has me hoping something will come of it now. |
