Hello,
I have a question. What would the effects be if I were to create a recording of a suggestion (like "you are a non-smoker and you will remain a non-smoker for the rest of your life") that wouldn't last for more than a few seconds, put the MP3 player in "repeat" mode, and leave it on playing all night in a headset near my head at a volume I would hear without it retaining me from falling asleep?
Would the effects be the same as in regular hypnosis? Would it be possible to compound, deepen, amplify the suggestion, etc.?

The effect would not necessarily be the same as regular hypnosis. Results from listening while asleep are unreliable. If you already have the way and the means, might be worth trying for yourself.
I've found it's better to use something like that during the day for a few minutes. People don't smoke while they're sleeping. Their mind needs more support during waking hours. |

| Well, you mind is in the same brainwave state when you sleep as when you are in hypnosis, so this coul;d be an effective way to provide suggestions to yourself. let us know how it works out for you! |
