I have for some time now been reading a lot of ebooks about both NLP and hypnosis.. Mostly my NLP reading was because I was adviced on another forum to read about it because they both (hypnosis and NLP) does the same they claimed.. But I must admit I have read alot but it haven't helped me a lot..
I mean I kind of need some sort of help (step by step) on what to read and understand first, and what I need to move on after that..
Hypnosis have always facinated me - mostly because of the possebility there are (making people stop biting their nail, stop smoking, making their confidence better etc. etc.)..
Well I've also listened to some self help tapes because I thought I might could find out something from those.. I learned a little about those techniques (confusing the concius mind so you can get through with things to the unconcius mind) but still haven't helped me..
But I was wondering if someone could help me in what information I should read, and in what order..?
I'm not interested in NLP for starters, more the hypnosis part..
I know I should read in here first but I'm not used to this forum so I don't know where to start.. I'm sorry.. I read another thread about newbie want to learn, and they refered to a loong thread and I read some of it but it didn't really help on my knowledge.. :S

You are on the right track - start by reading all those posts.
There is little sense in starting a new thread about something that is already under discussion. Most people are not going to repeat themselves in a new post just because you don't feel like reading through what they have already stated. Read, read and read - and then, if you have any questions after that - post the question at the end of the specific thread about that subject.
Also there is a lot of information in the Hypnosis FAQs and Papers & Articles Section sections.

| But where is it good to start? I mean when you learn driving it's best to learn how to use the brakes and speeder etc. before going further.. And I was wondering.. What subject should I start searching for and learning about in general? |

Hi
Start here, read the PDFs that are free to download and listen to the Hypnosis MP3s, once you have that it will give you a nice intro to hypnosis, from there ask you self what would I like to use theses skills for, once you can answer that you can then focus your attention to learning more in relation to how you want to use the skills.

But.. I could see most of the MP3's is about NLP.. How relevant will that be when it's basicly hypnosis I wanna learn? |

No its more to do with hypnosis that's why i posted the link. if I wanted you to learn more about NLP then I would have sent you here www.nlpu.com or here www.neurosemantics.com

don't judge a book by it's cover, it is a lot more to do with Hypnosis.
