What do people here think about age regression? Is it a good idea? A bad idea? Dangerous? Helpful?
At my hypnotherapy school they have pretty much forbidden us to use age regression; their view is that blocked/repressed memories are better left buried, and that it can do more harm than good to awaken them.
I found this disappointing, because age regression seems to me one of the most fascinating and potentially useful applications of hypnosis.
Would some people here be so kind as to share their views/experiences about age regression?

Age Regression combined with abreaction,, cathartic ventilation and reeducation is the most effective form of hypnotherapy.
The American Council of Hypnotist Examiners currently approves 44 schools in ten countries and every one of them teaches age regression. With Respect, Gil Boyne |
