My girlfriend was hypnotised on stage tonight, while she did this voluntarily she has been left with absolutly no memory of what happened to her while under hypnosis which is bothering her immensly. my question is will her memory return naturally (its been a fair few hours now) or is there some way to get it back (further hypnosis by a professional perhaps?)

Hypnotic Amnesia is quite an interesting topic. Some people are much more prone to that suggestion that others. I know some people who will have no recollection of anyhting at all, after being given a post hypnotic suggestion of amnesia; including one women who will adamantly argue that she has never been hypnotized, at which time I put her right back into trance.
There are others however, that will not accept this suggestion and will remember, especially immediately after, what has happened. I have found that the opposite (the more time passes, the less you remember) is actually true.
When rehypnotized, however, while under hypnosis, the subject does seem to remember, when given the proper suggestions.

| That which was taken can easily be restored by a skilled practitioner. Question is, is it worth the cost if all that is missing is memory of a short period when hypnosis was invoked, and she was made to look stupid onstage, as she knew was likely? See, she may be protecting herself from facing this by forgetting it. Live and learn..... |
