| When I was little I started systematically cutting foods out of my diet until I was down to very little. My parents always thought I would grow out of it but I am almost 23 and haven't yet. I know it is unhealty and I want to eat all the good food but I can't. Is it possible to be hypyonitized to like food again? Will it work? How do I go about being hyptnotized? What is the cost factor? |

hello.. just a note.. you have given your self the answer.. if you trained your self to eat less and less, could you do it the other way round, and very slowly eat more and more?
the coast facter comes down to the person you are working with.
if you look in your own citys phone book.. you should be able to find a host of practitioners.. ask them for a quote. you might find you can do a lot for your self and i would point you to www.emofree.com check out the free manual. as you might find it helpful.

| Matrixman has given you the reply you ask for, so no need to add to it. However, just two things caught my attention. First, you say this began when you were very young, and I am interested to know if you have any idea why you did it? I ask because that will be a question for your therapist to find out, and if you know it will be helpful and take less time for treatment. Secondly, you ask about cost, and though it might well cost you as much as $1,000.00 or more to get the help you need, I should ask you what price you put on your life? Food is the fuel of life, and you have ignored your bodies needs for a very long time. If I were your parent, I would be very concerned indeed, though truth is, if I were your parent, I would have had you in treatment long ago if you hadn't changed. Stop messing about and seek help immediately, be it from your doctor, or a qualified practitioner of hypnosis. Eating disorders kill...... |

| I think that everyone is misunderstanding my question. I do eat, I am not anorexic and do not have any other eating disorder, and I am perfectly healthy. I just don't like a variety of food -I think that it has something to do with the texture of the food. That is what I want to know, can I be hyptonotized to get over the texture of the food? |
