hiya...

my first posting on here....I need advice on how to get back on track with a diet...'

I have seven stone to lose....I have been on and off a product called "lipotrim" a pharmacy run product....men have two shakes a day and it puts the body into ketosis....

I know that with failing before I could fall back into the same pattern....the first time I did well...but was not as motivated as I should have been...and the other times I just kept buying food and not doing it....

So what would you all advise....this is a safe product...and I just need help with staying on track and losing this weight....

What makes you think you are better motivated now than you were before? You offer nothing that indicated your chances are any better this time than last when you failed, isn't that so? Hypnosis is not a magic pill you can take, and it will meet your every need. It requires that you take part in helping yourself while the practitioner helps make it easier for you to be successful. If you have so little motivation as you say, any advice we might offer would be of no value, and besides you need intevention, not advice. Best I can offer, is stop procrastinating and find a valid reason to lose that weight, then consult a local practitioner...

hi

which is why I ask for some tips....so one tip I feel you are saying is to having something to aim for...

how can NLP help me...also isn't hypnosis just relaxation....I ask this because I am aware of different techniques....'

I know hypnosis ain't no magic pill....but surely a good one will be able to help....but in the meantime I am searching for some self hyp before spending money on a hypnotist....

Hello and welcome to HOL, being at a point in my life where I have to get in to better shape, then I as happy to share, some of the things, that I feel might help you, as we have the same goal, first thing’s first stop taking pills, as they will impede your success, what you need to get in to your consciousness is just how much you eat, so over the next 3-5 days, you could create a log of the specific time, and exactly what you have eaten, it might also be useful to jot down what emotions, you a feeling at the time when you eat, this serves, a number of goals, one it allows you to keep track of what and when you eat, and allows you to find out what are your main triggers for eating.

Now I am going to ask you to consider, a few things, that at the same time will help you loss your weight, 1 you can still eat anything you like, yet you have to be really, really hungry, before you start eating you have to take your time when you eat, and enjoy every month full of food, that means you have to put you fork down between each month full, and taste each and even bit of your food, now sometimes, it not that your hungry that makes you want to eat, some times it’s because your dehydrated, so drink some water, and wait 15 minutes if after then laps of time you still feel hungry, then it really is time to eat.

Excise is important yet its does not have to be at a gym, you can just go for a fast pace walk for 30 minutes, every one as 30 minutes spare in a day, and that all you need, if you don’t use in energy that you have stored in your body with the food that you have eaten, then it will turn in to fat, now this might be a little harsh, don’t lie to your self about being fat, as every one in the world who sees you will see that, tell your self, Yes I am Fat, and I will change this by looking after what I eat, and by doing something positive about it, I will walk 30 minutes a day, extra than I would normally, and I will do everything in my power to succeed in reaching my goal.

What is you goal?
What are your specific reasons from wanting to lose weight?
How will you know your keeping on track?
How much time are you giving your self to succeed?
Is that time frame long enough?
What stopping you from do this?
If you know you come not fail how would that make you feel?
Can and will you start right now?
And if you can lose just one pound a week for a year that’s 52 pounds,

Scales now this is import, only stand on your scales once every 3 weeks, and only in the morning.

First of all, I read your post, much as I would had you phoned me for an apointment, and given me certain clues over the phone that I might work with. Secondly, I asked you the same question I would ask a client at our first interview, particullarly if they had given me such glaring clues as you did in your post. You asked for tips, and the first tip I gave you was to find motivation since you have failed many times due to lack of it...The tips you got from Matrixman though valid in general terms, were not specific to the mind, which is our speciality. Mine were, and since you are at a distance, if you ask for tips, what I told you is valid and nescessary to success. I am curious however as to what made you come to this specific board for help, since you seem to have so little understanding of hypnosis, and NLP, it's offshoot...... I would also like you to post your motivation for losing weight, since seeing it in print may be of help. Also, I want to know WHY you are overweight, and to see that in print. You see, most people are not overweight simply because they are lacking in self control, they often lack certain eliments in their diet, and overeat in hopes of finding that which is lacking. Others have bad eating habits, including skipping meals reguallarly and so on. If you have no clue as to why you are obese, how do you begin to correct it?
