Hi everyone,
I am Dave, almost 40, a free lance writier who has just completed a book on self-hypnosis that will be available early next year on Amazon, although I will be making it available at a cut rate in a few days (e-book and pdf, a hard copy soon). I became interested in self-hypnosis after coming down with a chronic illness. This has given me the impetus for a new dream: I want to become a licensed hypnotherapist and massage therapist and help people with the same condition I had. Any information I can gaiin from groups like this will be very welcome to me. I know hardly anyone who uses hypnosis and I want to learn as much as I can.
Also, I live in Tucson but plan soon to move to N. Az. Any information anyone has on becoming a licensed hypnotherapist in AZ will be greatlty appreciated.

Hello Dave,
I am a certified hypnotherapist in So. Calif. I can't say for AZ but in CA we are certified not licensed. I would suggest you check with any local hypnotherapist (you can use the directory on HOL or an organization I am a member of, The National Guild of Hypnotists) They can give you the names of people who teach hypnosis, in the area you are interested in. Good luck! It's a great profession and a wonderful group of people. |
