Hi there, I have been suffering with depression for a number of years and until I heard of Hypnosis I thought I was doomed to a life of medication.
After geting help, I started getting really interested in Hypnosis, I can now hypnotise people relatively easily (after months and months of study and practise).
Although I enjoy my work within the I.T industry I am extremly keen to look at Hypnosis as a alternate career. But do not have the £1,000+ to spend on courses - which way do I turn ?
Your help / advise would be grately appreciated.

| That seems a strange question to be asking strangers who know nothing about you. If you were looking at changing jobs, and doing anything other than hypnosis, what would you do next? All learning costs in some way, and all learning must be directed according to the ultimate goal you have for yourself. For example, if you wanted to enter a profession that required a University training, and you didn't have the money, what would you do? If you wanted to be a self employed anything, what would you do? These are questions only you can answer, so just because your present choice seems to be a change to hypnosis makes no difference. It may well be, that you are not cut out to be a practitioner, and would be a miserable failure at it, but you will never know until you try. On the other hand, is it worth it to you? Anthony..... |

You certainly know first hand the benefits of Hypnosis. That is a great start and if you really feel that this is your calling, I suggest you "go for it." Read books, look over online information and get involved with discussions (like these forums) to continue to add to your knowledge base. Then you will need to see what course of action is needed in your part of the world to get certified and/or registered to be able to practice.
