I started using a hypnotic anchor 4 years ago in order to attract love by bringing in my mind a past event where i was feeling extremely confident. After i used it for 3 days i attracted a girl who she was exactly as i had imagined her. After a month being in a relationship with her things started going really bad so started using my hypnotic anchor again in order to keep myself in control and confident state. Some days it was working and some days not. After i broke up with her, i attracted another girl by using an anchor again and it ended up really bad again. I kept using the same hypnotic anchor but i couldn't get any results. I started feeling desperate and helpless as the only thing that was able to make me feel powerful was not working. I came to believe that nothing could help me getting out from that state. Until now, i'm not able to visualize and if i visualized something the image is very weak and i'm not able to feel anything. I tried different images but nothing seems to work. I have developed resistance in any kind of therapy or new techniques and I'm still not able to identify the underlying fear. I'm feeling stuck and not able to move forward with my life. I want to change my career but i have great difficulty to visualize myself doing a job and have good feelings about it. I can't attract anything new in my life because i can't visualize and feel anything nice anymore. I'm sure that it is very obvious to some of you but i'm still not able to see the answer. Please help..

It's very difficult to find your own gremlins. Can you afford to see a hypnotherapist who could maybe help you.
To make sure you get to the right person have a conversation with several - many and choose the one you feel is most able to understand and that you canr elate to.

Thanks for your response Andrea. I suspect that I've created a powerful anchor against hypnotic anchoring. Fear of failure and disappointment could be behind it and the thought that if i attracted what i want then that would lead me to disappointment and pain sooner or later. What do you think about that?

You could well be right. However, I very much doubt that the problem has just materialised or is totally isolated to girlfriends.
The trouble with anchoring is that you are fighting consciously against a sub conscious negative. Whilst you may have some success in this as you work with it, often the sub conscious (hidden) objective is stronger and will eventually sabotage your work. As you meet these sabotages then they serve to strengthen your (hidden) negative beliefs until they are even stronger than when you first tried to conquer them. So yes what you say is true but you need to go deeper.

It's true what you said as it's been generalized to other areas as well. Question now is how can I go deeper? I tried to explore it using EFT with not much success.
Subconscious is extremely resistant about giving me any answers.

You don't need to worry about going deeper. you need to get some help or expect a long process. if you imagine it like to opposing fractions trying to get your attention. You conscious faction will always be resistant to letting the other bit in. Trying with hypnosis is like throwing a wet blanket over your efforts as trying is done with the ego or conscious part of the mind. The only way around this is to think about something other than the problem i.e. some form of meditation (which is not hypnosis) like sitting with your eyes closed and concentrating on random sounds that you become aware of. This allows you consicous mind to have a rest for a bit and your subconscious can start to let things through but be warned it takes a lot longer than going to a therapist for help. There are other ways too of training yourself to think about mundane things. While you are3 going through this process you can also use NLP or positive suggestions techniques to set in place the outcome that you want. You have to think carefully about what the outcome is and make sure that it is what you want and there are no negatives associated with it- however small ridiculous or subdues they mi8ght be.
It is not something that can be done lightly and without a lot of thought, preparation and self-awareness. I mean that you can't just think \about what you want but you have to think around it to about the implications and the effects on other parets of your life. You need to be dedicated and disciplined about it too.
That's why us therapists have to train for so long to get our diplomas.

The first step with self-hypnosis is to learn to consistently go into trance. Daily practice goes a long way, but unless it feels like you are doing something when you practice you won't keep trying. Physical relaxation should be combined with emotional and mental relaxation. This will help with deepening. Then general self-esteem work to help improve your mood and resourcefulness. When you feel good and you have fun regularly by yourself, that is when it is time to look for a relationship. Otherwise the steps you skip over will continue to be a problem even if you succeed short-term. I don't know what to tell you about career goals because I'm horrible at getting jobs.

My goal is to learn awareness in deep dreamless sleep, to transform it into meditation. Please help me.
