It was veery frustrating experience. Hypnotherapist spent with me about 3 hours. First 1.5 hour he gave me a lecture about everything: relationship, money, some people s hypnotic experience.To tell the truth, I read alot about spiritual healing, hypnotherapy, saiBaba etc, so nothing was new. After he turn on dvd with selfhypnosis, and tryed to put me in hypnotic trance or sleep by touching my forehead. It was impossible. He asked me just pretend that I can not open my eyes. Even seeing that his hypnosis did not work he charged me full prise and started to blame me that it was my folt that i came with thoughts that I can not be hypnotized.
Any coments? |

Did you communicate your frustration to this hypnotist?
My comment is let them know your experience and see how he responds.
Everyone is hypnotizable. It comes down to using the appropriate techniques for the individual, and enough time for the individual to learn the techniques.
Some people can have more trouble than others.
I have trouble with clients now and then (rarely), but I always believe the short-coming was mine - not able to communicate/teach the client well enough in the time I have allotted. (one hour)
The client has "some" responsibility. But the hypnotist is theoretically the one with the specialized training. If you knew how to hypnotize yourself, you would NOT have been there paying him.
Ask for your money back. |

Did he seem angry at the fact that his hypnosis didn't work?
Seems to me he spent quite a long time just doing the intro. |

Hi Just a quick question?
I guess from your style of writting English is not your first language?
If I am correct, was the hypnosis session conducted in your native tounge or English?
A possible problem was your brain stayed too active, translating rarther than relaxing!
I am a stage hypnotist and sometimes get this problem when working abroad.
