Hello all,
I am new to this forum and while I have toyed with hypnosis in the past with temporary benefits, I am interested in the idea of using hypnosis for self exploration.
I am particularly interested in the thought that self hypnosis might be used to help me understand the underlying causes of my self defeating behaviors (procrastination, fear of success, risk avoidance) that despite my best efforts always seem to overwhelm me eventually. Additionally I find that try as I might, that the source of these issues always seems to be just out of my line of sight, or that my vision is clouded, or blurry when I try to 'focus' on these issues.
My question is:
Is it realistic to think the hypnosis or self-hypnosis could be used to uncover the source of these issues?
I'm interested to hear thoughts on this.

Hypnosis, yes. Self-hypnosis, unlikely.
Hypnosis, with a qualified hypnotist, is very reliable at addressing, and resolving the source of issues. It creates consistent long-term results.
I do this every working day. |
