I've always been interested, but now making the plunge to read, learn, do. I'm a procrastinator, and have a hard time sticking to things I start. I just lost 40 lbs and now keep sabotaging myself. Between those issues, and never being able to keep an exercise routine,it kicked into gear to get this going.
I'm not sure how active this list is, but I seem to do better when I am accountable to someone other than myself. Is there any who can be a "partner" and check in with me, help me stay focused, etc. |

You are your own best partner - make a pact with yourself... write it down.
Sounds to me (you lost 40 pounds) as if your procrastination days are over.
Self Hypnosis is not the way to start - best bet is to seek a qualified Hypnosis Professional in your area and spring for a few sessions. Tell them you want to learn self-hypnosis in the process. Most all will teach you how to do this while you are in Hypnosis. That makes it easy and worth the price.

I agree with HypnoDoc here. Online partner could be a hit and miss venture anyway.
Self-hypnosis can be tricky to learn. Best to increase your chance of success - by a lot- and do it right with a good hypnotist first. A good one WILL teach you the self-hypnosis in the session. |

| As they have both said, it is much easier to learn self hypnosis when you are working with a good hypnotist, and they provide you with a simple trigger to allow you to return as well as give you some ideas on how to deepen the trance once you are there. |
