Matrixman, Or others proficient in NLP -
Have had a clients ask me about Obamaa's use of NLP in his speeches. There have been a few things that sure looked and sounded like NLP to me, but NLP's not my forte.
Has anyone seen his speeches and know what I'm talking about?
Any thoughts? Examples? Opinions?

Political speech tends to use a conversational device called Barnum statements- which are the type of statements that fill in how the reader or listener fits his or her own meaning of what the statements have said to them- an example- would be-
“As I am sure you are aware, the process of “change†requires commitment, persistence and goodwill, to keep giving your best, and highest, even when you can’t see an end to all your efforts, fortunately everyone in this room demonstrates the necessary qualities to successfully ago ahead and make the “change†and go ahead†etc, etc, etc."
You will find the best examples of Barnum statements- in newspaper horoscopes-
All politicians used this type of language- which is why when you ask them a question they will tend to be vague and very general in their answering-
If you listen to any of the great speech's you will find all kinds of so called NLP language forms and or hypnotic communicational tools..
