Hi everyone,
First off id like to say that I'm not trying to generate a crazy argument where everyone tells me I don't know what im talking about and I need to take a class and all that. So if you would like to say that, please keep it to yourself. Might be a lengthy one so be ready.
I have gone to my local library and searched the internet daily for the last year on the subject of hypnotism. After hypnotizing all my friends and pretty much everyone I have come across at every party ive been to, I was offered a gig by an organization that has heard about me through word of mouth. I am excited for the gig and have all my material (clean), and script ready to go. Of course I am a little nervous but I figure ill get over it. The real reason I started this is because I am from Canada, and as such I am finding it difficult to find an insurance provider. I am curious as to whether all of you have insurance, and if I would be a fool to go on stage without it. I called the one other hypnotist in my area, and he was not to nice about giving away information. So basically my question is, do I need insurance to perform? If so where can I get and how many rubels is it gonna cost me?

Most insurers require a proof of certification from an Independent professional organization such as the American Council of Hypnotist
Examiners. Yes,you are taking a serious risk by continuing
to do demonstrations without insuance.
