| I am brand new to hypnosis, so I was wondering if it is possible for me to create my own self hypnosis recording. I've seen and heard different self hypnosis methods, but they all seem to only "lightly hypnotize". Can I record, in my voice, a track that, when I listen to it, will take me into a really deep and highly suggestible trance, where, on my recording, I put things into my subconscious? Because it is possible to put others in deep trances like this, I don't see why I couldn't do it to myself. What should I say in the recording? How can I put myself into the trance, and how do I get get out of it? I've heard of people who were hypnotized into a state where they had 100% perfect photographic memory, heightened observation and reasoning skills, among other truly amazing mental abilities. This is my goal. Those normal people who were hypnotized, and while in the trance, could perfectly recall everything that had passed in their field of view. That proves such amazing things are possible. Can I put myself in a trance so deep, that I induce eidetic (photographic) memory, heightened observation and reasoning, etc., permenantly, even after I am out of the trance? I know I may be asking for a lot, and I'm sorry for rambling on, but I realllllllly want to be able to do this, so please, somebody help me! |

You're asking way more than can be answered in a post.
Yes, you can get good depth AND results from making your own self-hypno recording. Though, it will require you to do more research and then will require trial-and-error as you practice.
Your results may vary compared to other people. What you get out of it depends on what your mind is capable of in the first place. Everyone is different.

Why not spend one-tenth the time and energy - go see a Hypnosis Pro and ask them to train you to go into trance with a trigger. Then you can do whatever you want after that.
As with anything, start off slow and then go for bigger results as time progresses. |

Hi
You need to be very careful to research fully before designing your own tape as it is very easy to reinforce a negative and unwanted state rather than exacting the desired state. Experienced hypnotherapists have usually developed a second nature type trigger to correctly designing scripts and normally design them to fit the clients requirements rather than using 'off the shelf' standardised scripts (and I have seen some of those that are a bit loose with the correct wording).

It's probably not advisable if you're relatively new to hypnosis. Do more research and see how others have done it first.
When you do make a good one however, you can share it with others and perhaps even make some money from it if you wish.  |
