It just seems a little intense. I had tried this a while back and just forgot about it, and I stumbled across the topic again, and decided to go try out what I remembered. I relax and think for about five minutes, getting progressively less able to think, shortening my thoughts into one word sentences. BOOM! Concentric circles of blue and white explode from a pitch black background. My left eye twitches rapidly, and I have no control of my right arm. I get freaaked out (I had only read the procedure, not what happens. I had a little bit of online material, completelly free.) I'm a little scared to try it again.  |

Your mind is very powerful, and self-hypnosis is a wonderful tool for exploring. It is important to have good information though, and a trained therapist to consult with if you have any questions. Now you have had first hand experience of why the all ethical practitioners won't give out information that might lead anyone to try hypnosis without proper training, or a competent person nearby to correct any problems. Go take a course.... |
