THIS POST IS DIRECTED TO OTHER STAGE HYPNOTISTS
Hi all. I have my FIRST hypnosis show booked. I am due to perform in 3 weeks!!!!!! oh no!!!!!! reality has kicked in!!!
I have been studying hypnosis for a few years and I feel i am ready to perform my first show. (well sort of)
I have scripted my show. (I Know you shouldnt really script the show, because you dont know what kind of people will volunteer. But I needed something to work on as a back up)
Here is my list of sketches I plan to do in order....
1. Lying in bed. its cold. Your getting colder etc
2. Human handkerchief. Make subject believe that the person sitting next to them is a hanky and get them to wipe nose on them)
3. Fluffy animal (imagine a fluffy animal on your lap. stroke it etc)
4. Lottery win. Make subject believe their ticket is a winning ticket
5 X ray glasses (can see audience naked)
6. Invisible hypnotist (move chairs so they freak out)
7. Your on a quiz show with a stutter (make subject believe they have a stutter when they answer questions)
8 you are Elvis (classic sketch)
9. Great balls of fire (when you hear " great balls of fire" (The song) you will believe your testicles are on fire and you will put them out with someones drink from the audience)
These are just the first 9. I plan to do about 15 sketches. As the show is 1 hour long.
I would love to hear from stage hypnotists. As its my first show and I dont want to bite off more than I can chew. I want the show to be impressive. If anyone has any back up sketches (easy for the volunteers to understand but funny) i would love to hear from you.
All your advice will be taken on board (sorry this post is very rushed as I have to be somewhere now)
Look forward to hearing your replies. I know the sketches im doing are dated. But as its my first show I dont want to go too mad!
