here is a goofy question that I have,if you use hypnosis on a person too many times can you harm their health eg; if you hypnotise a person to believe they are a chicken could they get chicken related health problems,I mean is it better to do chickens then dogs then cats? |

I don't know what it is about chickens. The most common gag I hear mentioned is "he'll make you cluck like a chicken". I have started advertising my show as poultry free - the chicken is such a lame gag.
But in answer to the original question, the biology of the disease remains the same - if the disease is unique to a chicken, acting like one will not make your subject acquire chicken DNA. But for a good and entirely fictional account, watch that old movie "Altered States".
I think it is also important to remember that at shows, the degree of trance used is actually quite light, and the volunteers know that they are at a show. They will not get bird flu (but is there an idea for a gag in that?). |

It is best not to suggest to a person that they are a chicken at all---try and suggest something beneficial |
