Re my question
Female between 30-50, no physical injury or deformity. Describes herself as hideous, loathsome, hateful, and repulsive. States that she hates every part of her and her body, in particular her face, speaks in an almost inaudible voice (difficult to hear from a distance of 2 meters). When speaking holds hands in a fist covering face up to eyes. During discussion if suggestion is made as to others opinion of her appearance she states that they are just being nice or at worst lying.
I have tried suggestion therapy and am in the process of carrying out analysis.

Ashamed? Guilt? Extremely low self esteem! For how long? Any contact with family members to help you understand the situation? Invite brother/sister/close friend/children to attend an interview? Problem probably goes way back, ie the source. Maybe "an incident, or series of incidents", possibly an ongoing situation. Key maybe to finding something outside herself loathing that she can do to keep her hands & mind busy. For HOMEWORK - Try giving her a series of tasks, simple ordinary things like walking somewhere to observe something in detail & report back to you on it. Maybe presented to her in trance, or as waking suggestions. Try to get some input & perhaps some enthusiasm from her. There may be something that she wanted to do & has never got around to doing it. Like going for a ride on the back of a Harley, or something. She may want to write or draw something. Please let us all know how it goes.
