I have to take a physical to keep my job on monday. To prepare myself for the physical, I have changed my diet, eating only natural foods, and herbs that are known to lower blood pressure. I understand that for the most part that it will take time and a major lifestyle change to have a lasting effect, but I have noticed some progress.
I've been putting myself into a trance using an improvised script concerning me having ideal blood pressure, and telling myself that I will pass my physical. Immediately coming out of trance, I jump on the blood pressure monitor and registered an average reading, but after that first reading I just told my self to relax, and to register a 120/80. I was shocked when my BP monitor read 118/ 82...
Why was my second attempt better than the long drawn out scripted state, which felt great w/ head rocking and everything, but the short command to show a low score worked better.
How do i get better at this??? |

Thinking of suggestions before hypnotizing yourself actives your cortical function (conscious awareness--critical factor) Try writing out your suggestion (ten sentences or so),read the suggestions aloud before hypnotizing yourself. Then let your mind drift when you are in hypnosis.
