Hi guys - as you may have noticed I am new to this site but have been searching for a very long time for like minded people.
Please don't be put off by my user name it has been with me for a long while and can be found on many other sites - no satanic undertones cos of the 666.
Anyway nuff of that.
I have been undertaking studies of the hypnotic state and also the benefits of using meditation to induce a nudge in the evolution of man(or it could be trying to rediscover our past abilities - the line blurrs).
My main interest at the moment is aimed at producing the feat of levitation (think on this and I am sure you could come up with many benefits), have found some good quality data on the subject but find experimenting a problem as you need people around you who can think out of the box when working on scripts and induction techniques.
So here we are - have read some of the thoughts and discussuions on this site and you guys seem pretty cool and open minded.
Just saying Hi and letting you know what lights my fire - come and chat - lets see what this ole world can show us.
Just cos you've never done it don't mean it can't be done.
We cannot see the wind but it's power is undeniable - what of the power of the mind.

Yup back again with another little bit of stuff that I have pondered for some time.
Past life regression is a facinating subject but let me pose this to you - what would we learn if we were to investigate that time between one life and another.What would our minds reveal if we were to search out that space that time when we were not in a body.
come on guys work with me on this - open up tell me your thoughts.
All of those that I talk to normaly are to afraid to even consider what our minds might hold, I am possibly putting a lot onto you but if your willing to explore the inner workings of the consious and sub-consious who knows what we might acheive. |

| I have been exploring the inner workings of clients minds for fifty one years. I have researched these subjects extensively (as have many who contribute to these forums). It is inappropriate for you to infer that we are fearful, or closed minded. Go to the library where you will find many books on these subjects by respected authors. After you have read (and digested) thirty or forty books, come back with a new approach. Don't be patronizing to those who make these forums useful to so many. Years of acquiring knowledge and experience deserve more respect than your attitude reflects. |

Seem to be getting of the subject a bit.
Gil what I meant was people in general life not those who study the subject - the whole point of comming here is to talk to the learned and share thoughts - would never mean to offend.
So come on guy fess up - tell me what intrigues you what is your passion, you seem well read and keen to defend the study of things hypnotic etc - hell me too.
What could two open minds acheive, what could we inspire.

Thank you for the privatre email. I can understand you better now. Here is my best advice. Search the index of this and other forums for headings such as Past Life Regression. Put these key words into Google and you will find hundreds of hits for sources relating to your curiosity. In my opinion, this is not the best place to ask for info on esoteric and borderline subject matter. Personally, I post to give information relating to helping people with classical hypnotherapy.
I would not want to see this part of this forum filled with threads on the unknown and unknowable.

| After thirty eight years of hypnosis, I agree with Gil. I too come here to help those seeking advice in avoiding the idiot fringe, while at the same time, admitting that I have in my time done research into what might seem to be the fringe also. On the other hand, i did it when I was skilled enough to know the limits of both myself and my subject, and cause no harm. I have my own ethics which forbid me to post anything online, or to strangers, which might be misused and cause harm to another. If you want such information, go do the work and the research for yourself, and thus be better prepared to do it properly and safely.... I can tell you quite safely, that information offered to date is correct..... |
