hi again! :) i have read the previous posts about hight increase through hypnosis and noticed that laura giorgio (who has hypnosis tapes) said it was possible and some very inspiring things...
I was wondering if anyone could suggest how I should start?? I live in Australia and would like to go to a well known or approved hynotherapist that will be interested in doing some session with me to increase height... I live in melbourne, australia (victoria..does anyone know a hypnotherapist who would be willing to do this or could someone tell me what to look for to find a good hypnotherapist for this??? if you could give me some information or anything that would be great..thankyou..

| First of all, you are communicating with people from all over the world and we are unlikely to know a practitioner in a specific location. Further, we would have no idea as to their skills. You will need to do your own search for that. As for the problem you ask about, much depends on if your bones have already fused, since this will dictate if you CAN be successful in my opinion, and though others might claim differently, I choose to be cautious in helping someone spend their money if I am not sure they will get value for it. Be carefull of claims that CDs can help, they are very limited in their value though cheap by comparison to a therapist, though the later may be willing to offer a money back guarantee if he or she has any doubts about being successful... |

hello..I have emailed some hypnotherapists in melbourne (australia) and they said that they will give it a try, but can not garantee anything (which I understand).. But I would like to hear someone say that they do actually think it is possible..has anyone here actually tried this or know someone that has or who helps people acheive this.. I am going to give it a go, otherwise I would be wondering what could happen..But I would really like to know if anyone actually has. anyway..thanks for your replys, so for being so inaccurate in the last post, just thought maybe some people had heard of some good hypnotherapists in australia, thats all... have a good day... tahlia |

| I find your last post amusing, because it brought to mind a time when just for fun, as we were short of rain here in Calgary, I did a rain dance, and guess what. Yes it rained much to my amusement and the amazement of my kids who were very young at the time. Now in asking if anyone has ever helped someone grow taller, you are asking the same question, did my dance produce rain, or was it coincidental? Now ever if I had made it rain, or even if one of us had helped someone grow taller, it would prove nothing to you since your situation differs, and you are a different person. Even so, what I can tell you is that it is possible to alter our physical conditions by suggestion. This I know for fact, therefor it is possible to grow taller by hypnosis given the right person, and the right conditions. |

| I am trying to grow taller with hypnosis as well, i don't have any tapes but I just closed my eyes before sleep and try to get into a deep trance and imagine my legs are growing taller. During the day I do various exercises that can induce height increase, I follow the exercises routine as listed in http://www.giantscientific.com , I have grown also 1 inch in teh last 3 months, im 22, anyone have grown from hypnosis please share? |

| Congratulations on your height increase, but please dont give credit to were it is not deserved. Visualization is NOT hypnosis, so you are not using hypnosis to increase you height. On the other hand, the web site you directed reader so does offer some good ideas for those willing to do the work in hopes of getting results, and I would encourage them to do just that. Good diet does indeed increase both height and health thoughout the populace, so no harm in taking supliments in reasonable doses..... |

hello again. thankyou so much for your replys they are very helpfull and make me feel more confident that this will work.. I also think you can change physical appearances through hypnosis, which also helps! I will start going to a hypnotherapist once a week in probably a month time..gotta save a bit of money first! 
it would be so great if i recieved positive results after a few months or however long it takes to notice a difference.. It's something I have wanted for a while. I will definately write back and tell you how im going and my progress (if any). have a good day

| I read from this site http://www.hypnosis2height.com/hypnosis_success.html that someone has grown 12 inches in one year from hypnosis, I mean it's not a few inches ..that's a whole freaking foot. Anyone has heard any similar stories about hypnosis and height increase? |

| As Erickson says, if I published the story, nobody would believe it. Now on the other hand, if I published a story of failure, everyone would believe it. It is just human nature, so let me ask you the same question I asked the original poster. If I had increased the size of a small person by say four inches, and told you all about it, how many would believe? How many would expect to get the same results if they consulted me? That both might be wrong is certain, since I may well have done what I claimed, but for whatever reason, it only worked that well on this one person, so the rest of those who paid for my services would feel defrauded. Fact is, we are all different, and what works for one may not work for another, hence my caution warning. Hence also I suspect, the reason Erickson failed to publish something he may well have done, but felt it unlikely he could repeat it with reasonable frequency. We would need to know the cause of the problem first, not all small persons are so because of the same cause. Not all persons react to hypnosis the same way. Would I attempt it? Yes, but without guarantees. I think it worth my time, but would have no feeling of confidence that I would succeed, just optimism, and a willlingness to be my best for the client. |

| hi people. my name is jamie, and im another one of these people who want to grow taller, despite being told by doctors i can't, and that my bones are fused. i have recently been researching the whole hypnotism idea, and am a strong believer in that sort of thing. I was wondering tahlialia, whether you have been to see a hypnotist yet, and whether you have had any positive results, or any results for that matter. any information you have, i would be so greatful for. Just The Way I Am
I was a tiny baby and remained a slip of a child. My mother took to fibbing about my actual age, because well-meaning people would suggest I was underweight and expressed concern about my size.
As a teenager, I realized that I would always be shorter than the average girls my age. My self-image took a serious dip when I realized there would be many things I could be excluded from by being short--certain careers, certain sports, dancing with guys over 2 meters and other less important things.
One day my mother said something that would change my life. She said, "Anthy, remember dynamite comes in little boxes!"
Since then, i have accepted my 5-foot frame. I can get into places taller people cannot. I move through crowds easily. I see things on ground level that others never notice. I am closer to the eye level of children, and my size or lack thereof makes me more accessible for chats with and hugs from them. I am at a huge advantage if someone underestimates me. Few people wear my show size so I never battle in the shoe stores. I get away with a meter less of material when making a dress. I never have to duck for anything. Places my feet can't climb or a ladder can't take me are not worth going to. Who cares if there is dust at the top of the shelf, I don't make salad there!
I am also close to the ground so humility and kneeling come easy--to thank God for making me short.

How many more advantages can you notice?
Anyway, just for fun, I would also suggest "chunking up" --for example, giving yourself brutally honest answers to questions like: Why do I want to be taller? What feeling would it give me if I were taller? What is me wanting to be taller an example of?. And then think of other traits, abilities, and talents you could develop to fulfil that need that might be less of a gamble to invest your precious time in. Remember, life is short!

I have been practicing hypnotherapy for 53 years and teaching for 34 years. I have collected just about every book on hypnosis and hypnotherapy ever published. There is absolutely no record of anyone growing taller through the use of hypnosis. To believe the statements of people who are unknown to you is far more than naive. To spend your time and money when you are told that no result can be guaranteed is unthinking.
