A friend's 37-year-old daughter has MS, with considerable discomfort. I'm looking for help for her in the West Central Florida area, end of February to first week of March.
What prognosis can be expected?
What is the best possible outcome from an ideal hypnosis treatment plan?
Can such a plan be briefly described?

According to the Medical Practices act,. which is virtually
identical in every state, you may not treat or offer to treat
a physiological ailment or disease unless you are a state-licensed
physician. The penalties can be severe, including large fines
and prison time. Learn to use hypnotic language--eliminate the words
treat, cure, patient, treatment and other medical words. The person can be helped with hynotic techniques to develop a more positive mental attitude about their illness and the expectancy for remission. Please take this advice as I have attended the trials of numerous hypnotists who were either ignorant of the law or just didn't give a damn!

| Mark has said it all, and said it well, but I am curious about a couple of things...First, you suggest a window for treatment of about a week. We don't work that way. Secondly, you are a third party, and not even a relative, so why is it you are trying to get help during this short time? As a practitioner, I would never book an appointment through a third party, I expect to talk to the client directly. Secondly one session is not likely to give much in the way of results, so hypnosis is not likely to be of help under these circumstances.....If she consults a local in the area she lives in, and if she can find an ethical and skilled party, she could be greatly helped by hypnosis........ |
