I have been reading a book "Hynosis for Beginners" and was looking into the "regression" part he gives a pretty good script with three training sessions then one "starter" script. I have just finished recording the first session onto a tape. I do have a few questions before I go on though: 1: Will anything that happens while "going to the past" effect me mentally or physicly if wakeup in the middle of my birth LOL. 2: There are a few things in the script that make sure I will not be "hurt" by negitivity when it happens and one that will allow me to come out in the middle of a session safely that is all true right? HEHE I don't want to wake up and not be me if you know what I mean. 3: It it possible to freak out while under? Is there anyone out there that I could talk to mono e mono? I have a thought to "proof" the past LIFE regression - have one person "FIND" someone they know in there current life but don't tell anyone and then have that person to the same and if they match then its true! LOL

Since you're interested in regressions, I would recommend these books. I believe they will answer your questions much better than I can in this forum. They are avaliable in just about any major book store. "New Age Hypnosis" by Dr. Bruce Goldberg "Many Lives, Many Masters", "Through Time Into Healing", and "Only Love Is Real".. all by Dr. Brian L. Weiss. Do trust that you will remain in complete control while in hypnotic trance whether self-induced or whether you work with a practicing hypnotist. Dr. Goldberg's book does include very good scripts, if you prefer to work with scripts, that include the 'safety suggestions' you mention to remind you that you are in control and that you can count yourself out of the trance at any time. I'd be very interested in reading your follow up posts about your experiences. Also, understand that 6 out of 10 people will not regress on the first try. Hypnosis and Self-Hypnosis are learned skills. You get better at them the more you use them. Don't give up if you're in that 6 out of 10. The benefits of hypnosis and of self-hypnosis go far beyond mere entertainment/hobby.

Thank you Texas Lady for your follow up. Do you mean that the recommended books for reading will answer my questions about self-made tapes that I sent to the group, or they are additional required knowledge about the regressions? I hope some more quick answers than going through long books again, because I'm kind of tired reading for almost 6 months about the subject, and there is no single book that could answer my questions together.
I love reading, but I need to start practicing ASAP. I believe that all the time spent in this experience (reading, searching, trying different ways. etc.) is worth the time and efforts. But if there are expediters, Why not.

Neither a book nor a tape of any desciption will be able to intervene if you happen to have a reaction or abreaction to what occurs while in the trance, and since this is so, only a fool would take a chance without the presence of a qualified person able to take charge if such occured.....Remember you may expect to experience your own death, possibly a violent death etc, and the experience will seem real. I would never council anyone to try this alone, it is far too dangerous, and anyone telling you different has never had a client abreact during a session, or exeperienced one themselves. Anyone is able to come to this board, and make statements about their own experiences without challenge, but an experienced practitioner will confirm what I have said. Terry |

Very serious business. I always recommend to my clients that at the onset of any traumatic experience that they immediately imagine that they are floating on a cloud above the situation that is happening and hence they become bystanders and are looking in at the situation without worry or concern for what is happening |
