Hi everyone,
I have some specific questions regarding hypnosis. I have never received hypnosis and really know nothing about it. I have had a problem for at least 15 years with food / exercise obsession. I am normal sized (or so my husband says) but I have a very distorted view of my body. Some days I feel normal and others I feel enormous. In all honesty I am normal but I am depressed, obsessed and just basically miserable over constant thoughts of what I'm eating and how much (or little) I've exercised. I freak out when my stomach is full. I cry a lot and find that I binge a lot after days of sticking to my diet. Honestly I can say that I'm not anorexic or bulemic. At one time in my life I was bulemic (in my 20's) but now I really just don't have the energy for it anymore. I'm now 36 and I just want to be HAPPY with my body and not be so obsessed about food. PLEASE tell me if hynosis could be the answer. I've tried counseling with 3 different people which I felt was a joke. I got nothing out of it at all. I need an honest opinion about hynosis and I would also like to know if it's a lifelong process. Do people go forever and how often do they go (once a week, etc?) How much does it cost? How do I know if the hypnotist is a good one? Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks! Cami

at first you need to learn to relax and meditation will help you with this.(Here's another way that you can do meditation. Sit indian style(cross legged) and sit up strait. Now fully RELAX your MIND AND BODY. When you are totally relaxed focus on your dan tien and the energy from within it.Move the energy throughout your body, once you have your body full of energy start to draw energy from the earth and have it fill your body even more. This meditation powers you up. If you do this long enough you can power up to your max.I wouldn't recommend doing this for too long or you could go into burnout).do this alot of time and after you will learn it good began to do self hypnosis in order so sucess in your goals
