Hey,
I am a 19 year old guy and i am trying self hypnosis. But i cant get to the state of total relaxation. I have tried some self hypnosis tapes but i cant get relaxed. I dont get that feeling of my muscles being totally relaxed.
Anyone any tips for me?

Hello first of all you don't need to be totally relaxed, there's a name for that, death, yet putting that out of the way, don't try hypnosis just do it, look, it's real easy.
step one list 3-5 real good ways about how you think hypnosis might feel, and do this really slow take a about 5-7 mins, with each good feeling, and as you do this, from time to time just allow you toes, to relax, and then your legs, and belly, arms, neck and face, and just think, about how relaxed you are becomming, and as you can just go along, with this or that way of thinking, you can just play with the idea, that you can close your eyes, just at the right time, for you to just drift off, just like a day dream, easy, light, maybe warm or cool, maybe a little light, or maybe a little heavy, what ever works for you, in just the right way, now you might want to tell your sell nice thing's, and you just know what thing's you need to say so as you can take all the time you need to do that, when it's time to come back in to the here, and now you can say to yourself, in just the right ways, that work for you, 123 trance now, and you can get back to this nice place called self hypnosis, anytime you wish.
Ok that's how simple it is, if you have anything you want to ask, ask away.

| This is very ease i will give one of the powerfuly way to feel this.imagine that something that you love entering your body in love and began to relax all musceles and all your body and say to yourself that in count from 3 to 1 you will fill...... and began to count 3,2,1 and when you will say 1 you will fell exactly what you whant.yru and see |

| Apparently, the biggest problem with people learning new things is that they either have no faith in their abilities and want a step by step script of how to do it, or follow that script continously eventhough it's not working for them, remember, different people work wit hdifferent techniques (you've probably heard that about a million times huh.) and the fact that now people are way to expectant on what is to happen, dont try to feel it happening, just let it happen, and take little note to it instead of analyzing every second of it. |

Thing is about self hypnosis is that you are giving yourself suggestions rather than someone else making suggestions to relax to you. Practicing everyday helps!
