I had a client come to see me last weekend who I had seen about 2-3 years ago. This time he came in for a fear of death, though it only seemed to come up when he had to fly out of town. He has to fly for work, so this was getting to be a major issue with him.
After our initial talk, I guided him into hypnosis and began to explore his situation. Eventually we came across the root cause of his problem, hurt and anger.
Unsure where it all began I decided to explore where it all started by asking questions.
Before 10? Yes
Before 5? Yes
Before birth? Yes
Before the womb? Yes
OK, so that let me know it was from a past life. Next I did regression to cause and he was a 27 year old male in bed. He was sad. His wife and 3 month old son got sick and died.
I helped him process that experience and release the connection to that experience. He looked different after the session, his face was almost glowing.
We'll see how things turn out for him, as he has plans to fly here in a few days. We are both confident that this resolved his problem.
I prefer to use interactive processes with my clients, because that allows us to get to the root cause quickly and easily. I used a special form of Parts Therapy to go to the root cause. In fact I teach this in Level 1 of my Hypnotherapy Training. I also teach regression to cause in Level 2, though the root cause is not always in a past life.
He was OK with going to a past life, that is what we did the first time he came to see me 2-3 years ago. That might bother some people who do not believe in reincarnation, but often I never know where they are going until they get there. |
