| New to forum and hypnosis in general. My wife was in trance the other day and during some deepening started to get feelings of electricity shooting through her body. This was in itself nothing that was being suggested at the time, however the deepners being used ran along the iines of my words removing deep stress and held emotions. Has any heard of this and any helpful ideas on how to help remove or clear this? |

| Hi! surprised no one has commented here. Calming techniques where you allow the client to be a viewer of the experience, watching it from above, or seeing the sensation as something separate form you, may be helpful. I know with past life regression I like to suggest from the get go that if an experience is painful or too intense, to allow yourself to simply float above the scene as though watching it on a movie screen. some kind of soothing, suggesting the area is numb, or finding the root cause. "If you knew what this sensation was trying to tell you, what might that be?" Something like that. Often kinetic, or physical sensations are brought on as a symbol of something happening in their life, finding out what it is would clear the sensation. Also releasing techniques such as visualizing it as an object that you break into pieces or a room of things that you slowly clear out. Guided imagery is always helpful in release. Hope that helps. :) |
