Hello and Welcome to the HypnosisOnline.com Forum
You may browse the forum and read the posts without formal registration however, should you desire to post a new topic for discussion or reply to an existing post, you will be required to complete the registration process.
REGISTRATION PROCESS -
When you complete the registration form an automated e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address you list in your registration details. It is important that you use a real e-mail address and one that you can access to receive the automatic verification email.
NOTE: The verification is a link verification system. You click a link inside the email and that will approve your registration. We do not send any ZIP files. There is currently a virus going around labeled "activation notice" and it has a ZIP file attached to it. We would never send you a ZIP file for activation.
The process is automated and it is sent immediately upon submission of the form. So if you wish to have immediate access simply register, then check your e-mail for the verification, follow the instructions and click on the link and then return, refresh your browser window and log-in using your new Username and Password. It is that simple.
Upon clicking on the verification link in that e-mail you will be given access to the new forum. This is for security so we can trace any post back to a specific computer or e-mail account.
Registration is done for security purposes as we track IP addresses and e-mail for everyone who interacts with the forum. If you do not want us to track your IP address and e-mail then simply do not register. This tracking is done so we may trace improper posts within the forum.
HOW TO -
Read the FAQs by clicking on the link in the upper right hand corner. It is all there, almost every question ever asked about how to do anything in the forum.
MODERATORS -
Each board within the forum has a moderator. These moderators have the ability to move misplaced posts to more appropriate headings and generally try to keep things organized. That said, we retain the right to edit, move or remove any post at any time, for any reason, what so ever. If you would like to be a moderator for a specific board please let us know by email to the ForumMaster (see profile).
CENSORSHIP -
While we do not want to censor the posts we will not allow certain postings to occur, including but not limited to rudeness, slander, objectionable material, non-hypnosis advertisements, spam or generally trying to be controlling or chase others from the forum. If you want to post any of the aforementioned items, we suggest you get your own web site, start your own forum and have at it to your hearts content.
VERIFICATION EMAIL -
If for some reason you do not receive the verification notice, please email the ForumMaster (see profile). We will send you another email for your verification and we will activate your account immediately upon proof that your email address is real.
TEST AREA -
We have provided a TEST forum at the very end of our list of forum boards. Feel free to use this test area to try out the forum format before you begin placing posts. In this way, you have an area where you can try things first before using them in the live forum.
Please no extra large type fonts, no ALL CAPITAL titles or messages, no large photo attachments or anything that might cause the forum pages to open slowly. We retain the right to remove, edit or adjust any post that may break these rules or generally be out of the norm of the forum look and feel.
Don't worry if you make a mistake in your formatting in a live post. Simply hit "edit" and you can edit your own posts to fix anything at anytime. You can even edit them at a later time to update or add more information as time passes.
MEMBERS ONLY -
Finally there is a hidden “Members Only†area of the forum, which is only seen by moderators and those persons who have HypnosisOnline.com Member Services such as Child Webs / POP3 e-mail accounts or Hypnosis Web Sites designed and hosted by www.TELEsites.net.
