| Can hypnosis recall an event that took place 30 years ago? I sold an item to someone back in 1980 or 1981 and can't, for the life of me, recall the name or signature on the cheque. I can picture the cheque and can recall the color but that's it. I am desperately trying to locate the person who wrote this cheque. Help |

I've helped people with memories further than 30 years ago.
Remembering the name on the check is possible, though nobody can guarantee it. Memory isn't always stable. |

I would say that it is absolutely possible. It's a long time, but as we all know, memories are funny old things and - significantly - harness incredible power to recall detail you'd never think possible. And, let's be honest here, you have nothing to lose at all by trying short of some disappointment. But I think the risk is worth it based on what you have to gain.
Fingers crossed that your recollection is successful and that the person you seek can be found. (I'm assuming you're already reaching into other avenues such as detective agencies or getting into contact with mutual associates, of course - the best plan is one that uses a multi-fronted effort!) |

I have also helped people remember things that happened a long time ago and it can be done, but as was mentioned in the earlier post it can work in different ways for different people.
If you are planning on approaching a hypnotherapist to aid you with this. i would advise to try and have a face to face chat with the therapist first. Explain exactly what you are trying to recall and ask if the hypnotherapist has done this sort of thing before and how successful it was.
There is a little trick you could try for yourself, over the next couple of days you need to concentrate whenever you think about who you sold the item to, you need to tell yourself that you do not wish to remember who that person is, or it does not matter who that person is i don't want to remember them.
I know you will be doing the complete opposite of what you want to achieve but doing that can sometimes work. It is like when you can not sleep, the harder you try the more you can not sleep.
Give it a try you may be pleasantly surprised. |
