I have a client who has hearing loss, initially, and then tinnitus began to intrude.
I'd like to hear from anyone who has practical experience working with these issues.
There is "no physical reason for the hearing loss", and all the tests have been done - X-ray, cat scan, mri etc.
The one exploratory sesssion so far has had mixed results - no change in the tinnitus, but heard the telephone ring on 3 separate occasions.

| As the doctor for an ear flush. It may be no more than a simple growth of ear wax that is causing the problem. So simple that it was overlooked, and the tests you speak of wouldn't show this since wax is soft. Wax build-up is sometimes the cause of tinitus. Terry |

Hi
Try regressing the client back to the point when their hearing was satisfactory and look for a cause related to the tinitus.
