| I am deleting my post... what I wrote pretty much said that I feel that there are some people ( they are all relatives) that I have a weird connection to mentaly , but I am not close to them ( like they are not my family nor close friends) just distant acquaintances ( i am not good at spelling ) ..I think about them all the time and have very vivid dreams and visions. |

This emotion you're describing, if the family knew, would they maybe call it stalking?
Just kidding :)
This is just my two cents on the subject: Is it possible? Sure. But anything is possible. The only known is that NOBODY knows. And, nobody can honestly and accurately answer. I know there are people that believe they know.. but belief and knowing are different animals. Mystery of life or something. Often times people feel a connection with a person based on subconscious similarities with people they have previously known. Sometimes the connection eludes explanation.
And either way, if there is a 'past life', your current life is what is important.
If there is some unexplained connection... That's OK. Just avoid being too caught up in it. Focus on now and what you may be able to learn from now...

I think I know what you mean. I worked with a client just last week that had something similar going on for the past two years. Another guy on her mind. With her situation, it was something we were able to work with. Strong emotions from the past experience...
Strong emotions make memories more vivid. And, a vivid memory with strong emotion in our mind - our mind tends to revisit it. Even when we don't want it to. And, when we don't want it to keep doing it, we tend to get a sense of duality in our mind. Two parts of us going in two different directions.
Resolving the emotional component of this in your mind would probably help. Doing this for yourself may not be as helpful as getting an objective opinion.
Do you have regrets? Sadness?

I feel guilty toward the guy, like if I left him ... how can I explain : I feel sort of if he was my brother or child or someone dependent on me and I let him down....( THis feeling doesn't come from any real this life time situation.).. I do feel sad as well : like I am longing for something lost..hmm...
I don't understand what you said about the way to work through it ? But when I got to hang out with the uncle I feel peaceful. Strange, I am not close to them at all. ( not like close friends or family friends ) - totally random ... |

"like if I left him" and "dependent on me and I let him down" sounds like significant guilt? Would that be right or wrong? Guilt is a very strong emotion. The stronger the emotion the more vivid and 'current' the memories are in your mind, which makes them not go away. Was there something you did that you regret in hindsight? If guilt is the issue, what do you blame yourself for? Did you learn anything from the situation? Have you previously left people dependent on you, or been left by people you were dependent on?
I think we're on the right track with this - in finding a reason for the "obsessed" feeling?

Probably not fair to analyze it on a message board...
We could possibly walk through it a little more specifically with email. But, your best chance of successfully addressing this would be a face-to-face session with a good hypnotist.
This site has a good list or you can contact one of the national hypnosis associations, like ngh.com to request a referral for someone in your area...
