about a year ago or so I was bicycling at night. I was out really late like 3 or 4 am "smoking" with my friends. I went home and I was starving so I bicycle up the store which was about 1.5 miles away. I got my food and was on my way back home. I am going down my road and Im about 2 mins from being home. The night felt nice and im going down my street. Next thing I know I am dreaming about dragging my bicycle. I grab it with my right arm but it hurts. then I change arms. But all the sudden I realize I am in my apartment parking log dragging my broken bike with a broken arm. I drag it upstairs and I call my friend and I go to the hospital.
But what I am getting to is. I don't remember how I crashed. I don't remember when I crashed. I dunno what happened. Will I be able to be hypnotized and remember the night or will the drugs blur it too much. or will reliving that be more traumatic.
Oh in the bike crash, I broke my arm and i wasn't wearing a helmet so I had a subarachnoid hemorrhage. So my brain bled a little. I almost went into surgery because of it.
So I would like some feed back on any idea on how i can remember what happened that night. |

Working with memories can be very tricky and potentially very unreliable. Memories are only based on our subjective experience, they are not always factual or accurate in the best of times. You have drugs and physical head trauma in the mix. It is possible there is no memory to recover. Additionally, your strong desire to have a memory could very well help your mind create one. So, that's the reality of it. While it is possible there is memory to recover, I would be skeptical of the results unless the information can be verified in some way.
If you do have a memory, accessing it may be traumatic, but a skilled hypnotist will help you address it. This is a good thing, even if any memory brought up is not helpful.
