A couple of techniques I have used for fear of flying: (I don't use a script.)
Get the client's input so you have their words to give back to them. I always teach stress reduction techniques, including an anchored deep breathing routine. (We call it the Blue Diamond)
I also teach the client EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique. Check out the web-site www.emofree.com) and work on the phobia using a few rounds of EFT. So the client knows the validity of EFT, I get imagined discomfort greatly reduced if not completely eliminated I use a motified NLP phobia outline: Have the client (in trance) imagine the whole trip process (even packing the night before so there's no rush to the airport.) At the first sign of discomfort immediately use the stress-busting breathing routine, and let the axiety go away ("I don't know where it goes...does it float away, drift away, wash away, blow away, evaporate away? It doesn't matter just so long as it goes away...now.) and procede....repeating at each & every onset of anxiety. Take the trip all the way to the baggage pick-up area.
*Just like watching a video rewinding, watch the whole imagined flight on fast wind.
* Rapidly redo the trip. Almost fast forwarded. The client signals any remaining anxiety...do the stress-busting....procede thru the flight.....
*Repeat the rewind if necessary & the flight again even faster... *I have yet to have the need to repeat the fourth time.
Before finishing the trance work, I remind them to automatically, effortlessly, & efficiently use the stress-buster, as well as remember to use the EFT to reduce any axiety that might pop up. Hope this gives you an idea or two.

Has the subject always been afraid of flying? If the answer is no, then look into what has been happening to upset the subject... a traumatic event such as a traffic accident .. death in the family.. even a 'near miss..'
