Hello everyone,
I have been testing out an experiment.
I am curious if anyone else has ever done this?
I have always been told, that for hypnosis to be most effective, focus on one thing, that you want to change for a minimum of 21-30 days.
I have done that and have definitely seen the positive effects. However, it has been difficult for me to continue, focusing on only one thing at a time. There are four areas in my life that I am working on, and the importance levels of each area seem to shift often. How many can relate to that one??
So I have purchased several different self hypnosis cds, in these four areas.
And every time I would get on a role doing one subject, another area would pop up and remain very strong on my mind, and I would have the strong desire to begin working on that.
So I decided to do my own experiment.
On my ipod, I have about 14 different hypnosis sessions, dealing in these four categories. The four categories are financial abundance, physical change, weight loss and more romance.
What I have decided to do is every night and every morning, go in order of how the sessions are positioned in my ipod, doing each session once. I have some sessions that are on the same subject, by different hypnotherapists. I have made sure, by the way I entered the titles, that each subject is separated by a different subject. So every night and every morning I am working on different things.
My theory is, it may take more time, however I am working on each thing consistently, so over time I will achieve the same results, as if I was working on one subject 30 days in a row.
I have been doing my self hypnosis this way for about a month and a half. The results have been fantastic. I have seen positive changes occurring in all four areas. I have been naturally been making different choices leading to different actions and the results are showing, not to mention my self confidence has, effortlessly, been extremely high.
Has anyone else, reading this, ever done this type of thing?
Have you ever used hypnosis to work on multiple things at the same time?
I would love to hear any feedback or insight that you have about this.

Hello,
Everyone is different. For most people it is best to start out slow - especially if they are new to hypnosis / self hypnosis.
It would be appropriate for most people to take on one item at a time. Those who can do more will know it and move forward from there.

Everyone sure is different.
In my office I almost always work with more than one issue at a time. More often than not issues are connected. You could focus on one issue and not get reliable results without first addressing another issue.
Maybe as a general rule for self-hypnosis, keeping things separate is... easier to manage.
