Hi all,
I've been wanting to share this story of mine for a while now; I thought it might make interesting reading for someone out there that maybe struggling with an illness / illnesses that are unexplained.
Back in 2002, I decided to move to China for a year to teach English. Before I left, I had been experiencing quite severe pain that was running down the left hand side of my body, from my hip to my buttocks. My massage therapist thought it was a pinched nerve, telling me to see her regularly to deal with the pain.
When I was in China, my symptoms became worse. I was frequently in pain, and couldn't walk properly. Just to go to the shops was an ordeal.
I decided to go and see a Chinese doctor. They did an X-ray, and then tried to translate what was wrong. All my translator could say was 'it is something you were born with.' Puzzling!
So every day for a few weeks I would taxi to the hospital to have steam massages, and I would religiously drink some foul tasting stuff they prescribed me.
I came home in 2003, and I was still suffering from the pain. I met a fella, and we fell pregnant pretty quickly.
One time when I was in the shower, pregnant, I fainted. I came to in a lot of pain, & not surprisingly, the pain was in my normal place. From then on I could barely move.
I went through some intense physiotherapy, and my therapist advised me that my problem was my pelvis, something I had been born with. Explains what the Chinese doctor said! After a month of physio, I was significantly better. However I did go on to lose the baby.
Fast forward another year and a half, and I had just split with my boyfriend and moved into a house on my own. I was still suffering from this pain on and off, and I would have periodic physiotherapy, as needed.
One evening I was drifting off to sleep, wondering why I had this pain, and why it wouldn't go away. This is what I 'saw' in my mind ...
I was a Japanese woman in the late 1800's, early 1900's. I was in a nicely, but sparsely furnished room (fairly typical of Japanese rooms, with a sliding door). I was lying in bed, in the room on my own, racked in agony. I was going through labour, and I had been left to labour on my own while my husband waited. My pelvis area was so small, and I was struggling significantly with this birth. That's when my vision ended ...
I 'woke' up straight away, absolutely convinced I would not experience any more pain. And I have been 110% right ... it has never come back. I don't know whether this was my mind fantasising, and frankly I don't care!  I'm just happy I have never had this pain again.
I've since gone on to read all of Brian Weiss' books, and they make for tremendous reading. I would recommend these to everyone that has an interest in past life regression.
