I am 20 years old, and since I was 3 I have never eaten "proper" food. After going through Anorexia nervosa and B12 Deficiency due to lack of nutrients my body is getting its finally time to start putting myself right. I feel as though I am scared to try things I've never tried before, and I'm wondering if maybe hypnosis could help me in some way? |

Yes, it probably can. Sounds like there may be some deeper issues around food in your past. That may, or may not, be an aspect to the current issue. |

Yes hypnosis can definitely help with this. But like previous comment there may be deeper issues here with your previous eating disorders it will pay off to get some more help do not be afraid to look into alternative therapies. |

Yes, I would definitely give it a try. It looks like you were somehow "programmed" not to eat right since your childhood. Hypnosis can help to "reprogram" you. It also can help you to feel better about yourself. |

Yes, hypnosis can help you with that. Are you female? Unfortunately, sometimes our society portrays girls who eat healthy amounts as being overweight or gluttons. This can ingrain itself deeply in one's subconscious, causing problems like anorexia or bulemia.
Hypnosis can help break down this barrier for you. |

I'm sure hypnosis can help you achieve anything you want, but if in doubt the best way to eat better I've found is to eat raw unprocessed foods (have over 50% of your diet this way). My uncle is a nutirionist and he says that if you are unsure that you are getting all the dietry requirements your body needs in any given meal to have at least FIVE colours present. You could combine your hypnothereapy with these in the back of your mind. good luck! |

Hypnosis can indeed help but you have to be dedicated to it and have belief. I think it's great that you really want to make a change because the first step is usually the hardest.
I recommend anyone to watch a film documentary called Forks Over Knives which explores the relationship between diet and diseases in today's society. |

Yes Hypnosis can definitely help. As long as you're willing and open to actually improving yourself. Hypnosis isn't magic but it can seem magical ;)

Reason why people overeat is. Most people are trying to fill some hole in their lives and its not their stomach. They feel they are lacking something, but its not food. Food is just the substitute. This is one of the reasons dieting often doesnt work. You have to tackle the root cause of the problem. Through Hypnosis, Hypnotherapy and counselling, you can make the changes at a subconscious level. |

Hypnosis is probably going to be your best course of therapy, with the right therapist. |

Hypnotherapy can definitely help you with this! But you will need some sessions because anorexia is something that has an emotional background therefore it needs time. Most likely you had experiences that conditioned you, like we all had! Hypnotherapy will help you find the causes and change your behaviour!
My advice, look for an hypnotherapist (for a couple of sessions) and then follow up with a counsellor or coach!
Small steps but steady steps and you will get better! |

Yes, I would take a look at the deeper issues. We are like onions with many different layers. |

Hypnotherapy can definitely help you!
I suspect you have picked up a variety of beliefs around food and body image etc. It is the job of your subconscious mind to store those beliefs and to act on those beliefs. For instance, if you have picked up a belief that eating food will make you fat then accordingly you develop anorexia or some other eating disorder. Your subconscious is 95% of your mind power so if it is thinking that food is dangerous, its job is to protect you so it will make you stop eating. You may know consciously that food is safe and in fact, necessary, but your conscious mind is only 5% of your mind power and the more powerful subconscious mind will win every time. The purpose of hypnosis is to identify those subconscious beliefs that no longer serve you and to update them. This may be done through various hypnotic techniques. Once your subconscious beliefs are updated and in line with your conscious desires, you now have 100% of your mind power working for you. There's no longer an internal struggle and you see symptoms clearing up very quickly. Good luck and all the best to you! |
