| looking for someone to help me with my fear of flying. does anyone know of someone who is good at fixing this? i live in Illinois and am flying in march |

| You can search though the Hypnosis Listings Database to find Professionals in your exact area. You can email them from there and ask if they have experience with what you seek. |

| Contact your local airport. They may run courses for this problem, many do. If not, they may have a contact for you to go to who has run such a program for them... It's quite easy, and though reasonably fast, does require that you start in time to give the practitioner time to get the results you want, since it might well take several sessions, and usually sessions are one per week, though this is not mandatory to get results. |

A Fear of Flying is more common than most people think. Fear of Flying is irrational and illogical but the subconscious isnt rational or logical.
The reason why most people have this fear is their want for control. On a plane you hand any control to the pilot. You cant just get out or get off. You are stuck on the plane until you reach your destination. This is the base of this fear in the subconscious. In reality we cant control anything. We can have an influence over things but ultimately we have no control. The want to be in control must make you feel out of control and this is the threat the mind sees.
Hypnosis program is the best to resolve the fear of flying through Counselling and Hypnotherapy.

This is not a problem I have. At age 16 I earned my private pilot license. However, every time I get on a plane, My heart pumps faster and I begin to talk to myself about the safety of flying, commercial or in a private plane. My biggest fear is not taking off, or flying in the air, but in landing. For some reason that always makes me nervous. When I first started learning to fly, I would practice landing for a couple of hours at a time. I got to where I could land on a postage stamp if I wanted to. Some of the post earlier talked about hypnosis. That is a good idea. I have practice self-hypnosis for years. It the visualization that helps me the most. I Imagine the flight and its out come...so far 100% right.
