recently i have learnt the art of rapid and instant induction but i have experienced a few problems while doing it.
1) This is my biggest problem and i wish to get past this. I seem to not be able to do instant inductions where you just go up...ask for the handshake then arm pull induction, say SLEEP!, and then they should be in a trance but this isn't case. I need to go through a much longer way of doing it by using 3 handshake induction i learnt but this takes much longer than just doing an instant arm pull induction. Also after using the long 3 handshake induction i learnt i can pull off instant inductions right after, but when i tried before the long induction it didnt work..
2) I used my handshake induction on a friend last night and while he showed all the signs of being in a trance, he talked and when i told him to perform a certain thing he just replied "no" and opened his eyes?! this is the only time this has happened! why may this be?
3) I can induce girls into an instant induction but not males?! why is this happening or am i just being stupid?!
4) I used an anchor during a trance i done with my mum last night and i used the word cow to bring back the feeling of relaxation with the word "cow". This worked a treat, she couldn't help but go back to the trance and didnt question it once, although today i performed it to my friend and linked the word study to send her back into the trance, which worked when we were one on one, but i tried to use it while i was around all my other friends and she replied am not doing it euan and didn't slip into the trance.
any tips, techniques would be greatly appreciated, am planning on doing a sort of session for my friends at school and would like to perfect this.

There are a number of good books that will tell you the basics of hypnosis and the main inductions, my favourite is a book called 'Mischief' by Ian Harling and Martin Nyrup. Although it's mainly for performers, all the principals are there and laid out in a nice concise way and are easy to learn. You can get it on Amazon, but it may be easier to find at somewhere like elmwoodmagic.com or similar. Don't be fooled by a lot of the crap that poses as inductions. Years ago I paid out a lot of money for a series of junk PDFs, allegedly by experts in the field. Don't waste your time, look out Ormond McGill and H&N, you can't go far wrong.
