I have searched a lot of posts now, but I couldn't find the right answer.
1.
WHICH IS THE BEST INSTITUTE ?
I want to learn hypnotherapy properly and not in a 5 day course.
Does anyone know very good schools that offer full time training for at last 3 to 6 months or even longer? Like studying in the university where you almost go every day and not just at the weekends.
2.
WHICH SCHOOLS OFFER THE MOST PRACTICAL HOURS ?
Maybe there isn't a real full time training school. As practical experience is so important... Which school offers most practical or clinical hours where you can test and train what you have learned in theory?

Why not go to the list of schools that are posted on this web site? If you start around your area of the world you can call and ask them the questions direct. Then move outward to other areas where you would travel to study and then ask them the questions.

Most times you actually have to do the research work yourself based on your own particular set of circumstances.
As far as learning Hypnosis - some people do just great with reading a few good books and others need a classroom setting. There is no right way that works for everyone.

Thank you for answering HypnoDoc,
probably you are right and there is hardly any other way of learning hypnotherapy than the way you just described.
I think the schools are focussed on people that have a normal job and mainly have time at the weekends to study along the way.
Although I don't know too much about hypnosis I strongly think that practice is a really mayor part of it. So if I want to learn a sport or become a masseur I might learn it by myself or with weekend courses after a while. But it would so much easier and quicker to learn it well if I had a face to face training every day and not only 6 hours a week.
Probably it would be pretty expensive to have an every day training but if there would a course like that at a university it will be affordable.
What about a 100+ day personal hypno training with an instructor in a much poorer country like e.g. Asia/ Indonesia/ India? Has anyone ever heard of things like that?

| Another option - Find a mentor. Contact Hypnosis professionals in your area of the world (see listings page) and find if they would agree to be a mentor. Someone who is working everyday with clients would certainly offer you some insight and you could assist them by helping them around the office. |
