| I am sure some of you have heard of the movie the Secret and the Law of Attraction. I was wondering if anyone has a law of attraction hypnosis script? |

Hi,
I'm not sure what you mean by scripts for the Law of Attraction? Law of attraction doesn't involve hypnotic state, it is the way of behavior of your conscience mind. You should decide what your goals in life or for the certain period are and try to visualize it as often as possible and use your feelings above all. You should see the film that explains the very basic of the quantum physics, and what they actually meant, a kind of continuation of The Secret, and you will see what I mean. It shows how metaphysics, physics, religion and even the pure existence of our reality are connecting to each other and sometimes even explaining each other if you go deep enough. The film is called: The Rabbit hole or What the bleep do I know? |

This concept has been around for quite some time. The Internet movie was inspired by the 1910 book "The Science of Getting Rich."

I don't like the use of the term "Law" in this regard. Makes it seem like pseudoscience which immediately gives it less credibility.

Then associating it with Hypnosis tends to drag Hypnosis into the pseudoscience realm. There are no Secrets here.
In the end, yes, many wealthy people think positive but that is not the factor that got them to where they are. In fact, that trait, may have been only a small percentage of the total reason (hard work, education, etc.) for their success. The question is would they have succeeded without that trait in their personality makeup? Not likely.
In the end, "The Secret" tends to say that their entire success was dependent on that small percentage trait and tell people what they want to hear - that you don't have to work hard, get educated and apply yourself to "Make it Rich" or "Score with women" - you only need to think about it real hard.
That brings us to why someone would drop into a Hypnosis forum - for their first (usually their only) post and write about it. Not only write about it but looking for a script as if it were a "Law of Hypnosis." What would be the motivation? Would it be to learn more about it (they could look in any search engine and find tons of information from cults to skeptics) or would it be to help promote it and (the similar unproven Law) the sleazy seduction side of Hypnosis? Maybe if I think about it real hard the answer will come to me.
Anyway, the answer to the questions is - any "Confidence / Positive Thinking" script will do what you are looking for.

I appreciate your short sighted answer. First of all, the only reason I referred to it as " Law of Attraction" was because of the reference to the movie itself. I was not looking for your opinion as to what was science and what was not. Nor do you need to spend another minute contemplating why I joined this forum and how many post I have had. I am a hypnotherapist reaching out to other hypnotherapist. I thought that was the purpose of the forum. If it is not, and only used as a marketing tool, then so be it. The customer service and the insulting remarks ensure that you will never get a dime nor a referral from me.It is sad too, because I was contemplating a large purchace. It is clear that while positive thinking may not be the only thing that ensures wealth, your negative thinking reflected in your insulting comments has ensured a lost customer.
That said- There have been quite a few people to call my office and email asking for such a session... I was not sure if there was some other therapist using hypnosis specifically with that in mind. I do not need to learn about it as I am familiar with its principles. I was looking for something to help others who want to enhance thier focus and visualization skills, especially those who are having a difficult time thinking positively and being clear on what they want. There are numerous groups in my city and I thought of hypnosis as a great way to better apply what they may want to do. I realize that all of those areas can be addressed in a couple of sessions. It just seemed to me that a general script could be used and the specifics could be applied as needed. It is just as well that I will develop one. Thanks |

Actually my answer was anything but short-sighted. In fact, it was based on long term interaction with this forum. I do apologize if you took the post as a personal attack - but at first reading it appeared to be just another post for the marketing of some seduction course or program.
The ploy goes like this - a new person enters and starts a post with a simple paragraph. Another poster (usually the same person under a different username) then posts a reply referring to the item for sale. We have seen it many times and other forums get it too. They almost always post it into the General Forum (which you did as well) - the moderator has since moved the post into the correct "scripts" section. This also made me jump to the wrong conclusion.
I understand and completely agree with you on your tactic to use what the client brings to the table - you are exactly correct in that regard. Perhaps if you had mentioned in your original post that the script was for a client and made some mention of that, I would not have jumped to the obviously wrong conclusion.
In the end the answer is still the same - any "Confidence / Positive Thinking" script will do what you are looking for.
If you'd like to try the post again - or edit your original one to make it more clearly from someone who is not a spammer - I would be happy to remove my rant and the offending text.
I apologize again and hope you will change your mind and continue to interact within our group.

Hypnodoc has it right!Many years ago, Earl Nightingale had a best selling recording titled "The Strangest Secret"which covered the same ground. The "Science of Getting Rich" has been back in print for twenty-five years, available from westwoodpublishingco.com.
The "Secret" promises far more than it can possibly deliver! |

I accept and thank you for your apology. I understand how there could be some miscommunication about the post. I wasn't very detailed initially. I will certainly be more mindful in the future. Thank you for your suggestions. I believe I will reflect more on the type of program I would like to use and I will post when I have contemplated the matter further.
So far, I am thinking of putting a series of group sessions together to address a variety of issues such as confidence/ positive thinking, clear visualization and goal setting, productivity, creating prosperity, and/or others.
Although the ideas suggested in the Secret is nothing new , there is a new audience that has just become aware of such ideas. To that end, I believe that this new audience is a prime target market for us to share how hypnosis can help with creating new behaviors that can improve the quality of lives. The "secret" or the law of attraction has just become a trigger phrase(s) that some in this new audience can relate to because of the popularity of the movie. |

This looks like a package for someone who wants to be rich - it is in a simulated leather case (looks very rich indeed). How could it not help you get rich if it comes in such a rich looking package? I feel rich already just looking at it.
