Hi everyone, this is Edsel Chiu. It is my pleasure to meet all of you. I am fairly new to hypnosis, and I am especially interest in self hypnosis recently.
So far I have read the Complete Idiot's Guide for Hypnosis (2nd Edition) as well as the other Chinese hypnosis book. I assume I have the basic concept of hypnosis.
I wonder what are some good books that everyone recommand for either hypnosis and self hypnosis. I have searched hypnosis and self hypnosis in Amazon, are they any good?

The master key- is a classic yet very old book- that takes you through a 24 weeks series of mental exercises- and is very often freely available to download- at no cost- from many self help web-sites- from a a hypnosis point of view the "Master key" is a lot of effort and time- something like this

The self Hypnosis kit is very good at getting you where to go- and is a very good clean introduction to self-hypnosis .
the Tape as two very easy to follow induction- that are about 30 minutes each- and train you in a very easy way-
the book covers a number of applications and gives a clear set of guidelines- to get the very out of yourself and the kit.

Hello and welcome,
Also there is a boat load of information available right on this web site - see the Hypnosis FAQs section at http://HypnosisOnline.com/FAQs - also look for the "Papers and Articles" section for more advanced info.
Another great way to find a lot of info is to review what has already been posted in this forum all about hypnosis (you are not the first to ask about books on hypnosis). Use the "search" link at the top of the page and do a search on "hypnosis" and "hypnosis books." You will find a lot (pages and pages) of information - including the answers that have been posted in reply to this exact same question.
After all that reading up on the subject - drop back in here (this same thread if you like) and ask any questions you may have about specifics. I am sure someone will be willing to help out.
