I have been using a self hypnosis tape and absolutely nothing has happened. I read somewhere that you have to listen to these for twenty days before they take effect. Does anyone have an opinion on whether I can expect results in twenty days? It would reallly be advantageous to me to be able to do it sooner. I am in fact not sure I can afford to wait for three weeks. |

I like your idea about contacting a professional. I'm not clear though- would I have to have someone hypnotize me for every thing I need to work on or can he teach me to hypnotize myself? Cost is an issue, although I can afford it to a reasonable degree. Thanks for the link, although I live in an obscure area and not sure how close I'll find someone. |

In most cases the recommended timeline that you should listen to the audio program would be on the package or at least in the original place where you purchased the program.
In our own series we recommend "at least once a day for 20 days."
If you want something more fast-acting then I suggest you find a professional that is close to your area (http://HypnosisDatabase.com) and look into one-on-one sessions. That is by far the best Hypnosis you can get, period. One-on-one sessions are the fastest way to approach any problem or issue and get to the personal source through the interaction you have with the Hypnotist. Obviously you cannot get that interaction from an audio program as they are designed more for generic use across a wider group of people.
