Can someone with experience tell me if I am in a trance state? I recently began practicing self hypnosis. I bought a book called Instant Self-Hypnosis: How to hypnotize yourself with your eyes open.
Upon reading an induction, it felt like the only thing I can feel in my body is my mouth moving as I read. It kind of feels like I am not even controlling it, I am just reading the words, but the words are processing. My eyes are focused on the book to the point where I see nothing around me, I don't feel my legs, arms, etc.
Any help is appreciated.
