You are being hypnotized just about every second of the day.
There is no trance, placid music or the perfect moment, ect.
It is done through your eyes and ears. All the media you come in contact with...
I have discovered on my own, just a regular person, the mind can accept and process
more than one script (multiples) at one time. The length of time for acceptance is about
10 minutes or less. This depends on the wording of the script.
The scripts do not have to be masked under music, ect. But, be recorded fast enough that
the recording sounds like a background sound that you are familiar with. For example, a bee, a chirping bug or maybe machinery.
The subconscious will hear and accept the scripts. Not, your conscious mind.
How will you know the scripts work? For example, if your script is for self-confidence, then the next time you are in a situation where you did not have any before, you will. It will be automatic and you will not realize it.

When you spend time working with clients on a regular basis, you will learn quickly that there are scripts you can use in some situations, but if they are not specific to the person and their situation, they are not going to work well.
It is impossible to script certain processes, such as interactive processes. These involve a conversation with the client while they are in hypnosis. Some people feel they need to use ideomotor signals to avoid arousing the client. That can work, but it can also take a long time to get information and you are limited to yes, no and I don't know.
As long as you have you client in a good deep state of hypnosis and you have plenty of deepeners in your back pocket, there is not a problem having the client talk during the hypnosis session. In fact the benefits out weight any potential problems that might arise.
When I work with clients it is rare for me to NOT have them talk to me. I take notes and use their language to create suggestions on the fly. This is much more effective than using a script.
This is the reason my students decide to take my Hypnotherapy Training, because they discover that many courses only teach suggestions. Sure it is more challenging to use interactive processes and create suggestions on the fly during the session. But when the client speaks in their words, and you begin to feed them back in the form of suggestion, it's going to be much more effective than reading a canned script from a piece of paper.
So put down the script and learn to help people in the most appropriate way by creating a session for the client instead of reading it from a script.
