Hey there.
I'm 45 in business sales (have an arts degree) and just started seeing a CBT (cognitive behavioural therapist) right now to help me deal with sometimes crippling anxiety over possible job loss in our (telecom) sector...also considering a career move altogether, but need to first quieten my anxiety (and that feeling of dread each morning I awake about my future ay vay!) ...I mean I'm very gregarious and such but feel ''stuck'' and paralyzed right now....anyway, so as not to bore you I'm trying to find some very useful cds that deal with depression, anxiety, stress reduction but also how to go inside and develop one's resources of intuition, passion, confidence and purpose in life (esp at my age of 45...midlife crisis, perhaps?...who knows)...so feel free to suggest this and anyone you know in the vancouver bc (canada) area you know who is very credible, too.

Hi,
Kein's work is good stuff. I use a lot of it. His Ultra-Height technique is something he is really pushing at the moment.
He was in Vancouver for the instruction class just a few months ago.
Group might be a good test for you, as well as the guy running it.
Group work is going to be less consistent/reliable than one on one work. Consider it an introduction.

I have heard of Gerry Kein, yet don't have any personal experience of him, so I can't make an informed judgement of his work, yet I have heard many people who have and they give a good impression of what he does.

also, there is a hypnotherapist named rob hadley here in vancouver I just researched...is inviting me (for free) to a group session of a "Ultra Height" technique pioneered by Gerry Kein. This is a form of hypnosis in which the client is able to draw on their own resources to work on whatever personal issues you choose - and resolve it whilst in a deep level of hypnosis.''
Are you familiar with it?
