Hello - has anyone done hypnosis sessions by Skype. I would worry about disconnection and leaving the client in trance still. Has anyone used Skype and found it successful ? |

A few of my hypnotherapists use Skype successfully. It's better than phone sessions because it's hands-free and you can ask the client to point their webcam on their face during the session, and that way you can gauge their responses in real-time. We haven't had any issues yet.
If you get disconnected, just ring them again and they'll emerge so that you can redo the induction. In the worst-case scenario, either you or they suffer a power outage and you can't connect--in this case, they'll emerge from hypnosis by themselves after a few minutes (or hours if they fall asleep). |
